About Tea Mixology Workshop

This hands-on workshop introduces you to the world of tea mixology, where tea is not just a beverage - but a key ingredient in modern drink creation. This session explores how tea can be used to build structure, balance, and complexity in both cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks.
Over the course of the experience, you will create three AVANTCHA signature drinks using professional techniques:
- A shaken cocktail focus on balance and texture
- A stirred cocktail highlighting elegance and depth
- A built mocktail designed for refreshment and accessibility
Guided step by step you'll learn how to approach tea as mixology tool - understanding its role in flavour, aroma, and structure - while creating your own drinks in an interactive, small-group setting.
What to expect:
- Hands-on drink making (each guest prepare their own drinks)
- Introduction to tea as a mixology ingredients
- Professional bartending techniques
- A new way of thinking about tea - and the tools to recreate these drinks at home
Offered as part of the AEHL 100 celebration, this workshop is open to EHL Alumni and their +1. Places are limited to 10 guests.
